Summer Reading Program

Reading Takes you everywhere!

The 2018 Summer Reading Program: Reading Takes You Everywhere, is not merely about travel. It is about how, through reading, one can explore, discover, and experience people, places, and things that one would not normally encounter. Exploring this theme includes reading fiction and nonfiction that is reality-based, but it also includes reading stories based purely on imagination.

Patrons will read about life in other dimensions, on other planets, and other times— people, places, and things that might be outside one’s reach or outside one’s comfort zone.

During the next two months, the library will host a range of free activities for children, teens, and adults to encourage and support a love of reading. Participants can win prizes for reaching their reading goals.

Registration for "Reading Takes You Everywhere" summer reading program on begins Monday, June 4th.
