United Through Reading Military Program provides a meaningful opportunity for powerful emotional connections that help relieve the stress of United Through Readingseparation by having deploying service members read aloud to children via DVD.

Take 30 minutes out of your day to record yourself reading a book to your loved one. It could be your child, grandchild, brother, sister, niece, nephew, or a godchild.

Sure, you have modern technology like SKYPE and telephones; however the psychological effects of reading to your children is forever lasting.

At those times when your children are missing you and you can’t call them, they will have something to watch at bedtime, or anytime.

More:

    • It’s FREE and it’s for any separation, not just deployments
    • No limit to the number of recordings
    • Taping is done in complete privacy

Plan to record early and you can participate in celebrations such as birthdays, holidays, and big family events!

Contact the Station Library at 928-269-2785 with further questions or to schedule your recording session!
