Welcome to MCCS Yuma Athletics Program!
The Marine Corps Air Station, Yuma Athletics program guarantees to provide a comprehensive range of individual and team sports for both men and women with an emphasis placed on mass participation. It is designed to provide programs that assist Marines in maintaining morale and espirt de corps while keeping mentally alert and physically fit. In addition, to fulfill the leisure time needs of interests of military personnel, their family members and DOD civilians through recreational and competitive activities.
- Active Duty military and their family members assigned to MCAS Yuma. Family members must be at least age 18, unless otherwise identified in the specific bylaws.
- DoD civilians (APF and NAF) who work on or are assigned to MCAS Yuma. Civilian family members are not authorized to participate unless they also work on the Base.
- All civilians must sign "Hold Harmless" agreements prior to their participation.
The Fields aboard Marine Corps Air Station Yuma are for Active Duty Military and their families. Intramurals and Youth Sports Programs have priority at all times. Retirees and Civilians, who work on base, can reserve the fields based on availability and approval from the Athletic Department. Depending on the reason for the field reservation, there may or may not be a charge as well.
The lights on the majority of the fields are remotely controlled. Once you receive confirmation that your Field Reservation has been made, the lights will be programmed to come on 15 minutes prior to your start time and go off 15 minutes after your end time.
Currently there are only two locations that the lights are not remotely controlled and they are:
Softball Field 555 and The Turf Arena at the Memorial Complex.
Field Reservations must be made 48 hours prior to the requested date.
Special Event Reservations must be made 7 Calendar days prior to the event.

The MCAS Yuma Athletics Department supports a diverse varsity sports program providing athletes the opportunity to compete at a higher level. Teams are comprised of the best players on base and can compete against varsity teams from other bases, colleges, law enforcement agencies, or any other approved tournaments or competitions.

The purpose of Intramural Sports is to provide opportunities for participation in a wide range of individual and team sports for both men and women regardless of skill level with a primary emphasis on maximum participation. Enhance individual morale, and unit esprit de corps while promoting teamwork and cooperation through friendly competition.
Eligibility to Participate:
- Active Duty
- Dependents over the age of 18
- DoD / MCCS Civilian Employees
The participation of authorized DoD / MCCS Civilian Employees and Military Dependents in the Marine Corps Intramural Sports Program shall be at the Installation Commander's discretion. The participation of authorized civilians/dependents will not be at the exclusion or detriment of Marines.
