Personal Readiness Seminar
Personal Readiness Seminar (PRS) is the foundational readiness touchpoint for Marines to ensure compliance with statutory financial education and primary prevention mandates, supporting readiness and reinforcing the Marine Corps Total Fitness (MCTF) framework. Completion of PRS is required before accessing Tuition Assistance.
Attendance. Active-duty and Reserve Marines (both Officers and Enlisted) must attend PRS within 90 days of reporting to their first permanent duty station. Commanders may direct additional attendance based on financial indicators (e.g., non-sufficient funds, Basic Needs Allowance eligibility, risk factors identified in Force Preservation Councils).
**This class satisfies the MOL message regarding the updated and expanded Personal Financial Management (PFM) requirements in the PRS (MARADMIN 112/26).
All classes are held in person at the Education Center. Registration is not required.
