The School Age Care (SAC) program is accredited through the Council of Accreditation (COA). Services are available for before school 0630-1130 and after school 1330-1730. The school calendar for Yuma School District #1 is followed. Camp is offered during school breaks with optional hours and week selections. The SAC curriculum is developed around the Boys and Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) and interests of youth. The center is closed for all federal holidays. Any other closings are at the discretion of the Command. Fees are applied in weekly increments from Monday to Friday. Discounts are not given for holiday closures, days missed, illness or leave periods.
The safety and well-being of your youth is our first priority. Our center has an "open door" policy and we encourage visits and interaction from our parents. There are video cameras that continuously record each area. Youth can be viewed from these if parents are reluctant to interrupt the youth's activity.
During Camps, Breakfast, Lunch and an afternoon Snack is provided at no charge. No outside food or drinks are allowed at the Youth Center. Food allergies and religious food restrictions are accommodated with the proper medical documentation provided by parents at time of enrollment.
