In this training, participants will:

• Know the impact of volunteering and how it may apply to them
• Learn effective communication skills as a volunteer
• Learn how to manage their volunteer career
• Have a better understanding of tracking their hours and maintaining personal volunteer records
• Learn about local volunteer opportunities
• Gain tips for using volunteer time to pursue future paid professional opportunities

This class is open to all MCCS Yuma patrons interested in volunteering.

Walk-ins are welcome, registration is highly encouraged!
