Each year we have a quilt show, where we have demonstrations, vendors, and quilts from club members are displayed. In addition, one quilt will be selected (as voted on by DLQ membership) as our Opportunity Quilt, which in 2024 allowed us to donate $5,000 to the Yuma Navy Marine Corps Relief Society and in 2025, to the Yuma Chapter of Kids at Hope.

TASK(S)
January 7/8: Helping members set up poles and drapes to display quilts.
January 8:  Helping vendors offload their setup.
Janary 10: Takedown and possibly assisting vendors load vehicles.

TIME(S)

• January 7: 10am - 12pm
• January 8: 8am - 10am, 12pm - 2pm
• January 10: 4pm - 6pm

• Please wear comfortable clothes and something you don't mind getting dirty.
• Volunteers must contact POC directly to sign up.
• POC will provide Letters of Appreciation (LOA) to volunteers who participate in the event.
• Volunteers are responsible for requesting an LOA and providing the POC with their name, rank, and contact information upon or shortly after registering to volunteer so that an LOA can be provided.
