Volunteers who form the backbone of Semper Fit’s youth sports program are important, influential community leaders who foster positive experiences for military youth, helping them to acquire the inherent life skills and values learned in training and competition. Without volunteers in the community, youth sports would not be viable.
Youth sports volunteers and coaches encourage participation, improve the athlete experience, strengthen local military communities, serve as mentors, and improving the Total Fitness of military children.
