Active Parenting Classes available upon request. Two classes are available to fit your families needs. Call the Family Advocacy Program to schedule your session.
Active Parenting
Active Parenting is organized around 6 core skills of positive parenting including: cooperation & communication, responsibility & discipline, building courage & self-esteem, and understanding & redirecting misbehavior. Participants can complete all 6 sessions for a certificate or request a session focusing on a specific skill.
Active Parenting for Blended Families
This program focuses on parenting in stepfamilies, but it's also appropriate for foster parents, single parents in preparation for remarriage, parents of adopted children, and multi-generational families.
Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) Seminar
This program covers 5 key principles of positive parenting of children 0-12 years of age & how to raise confident, competent, resilient children. Sessions are held upon request. Call to register today!
