Join us for an evening of Holiday cheer outside the Marine Corps Exchange! Event begins at 1700 and ends with a Light Parade that passes in front of the venue at 2000.
Family activities:
- Tree Lighting Ceremony - The Base Chapel and the station XO will share a few words and light the tree.
- Photos with Santa - Bring your camera and take your picture from 1730-1930
- Carnival Games - Free fun games for the kids!
- Holiday Craft Booths - Free crafts for kids!
- Ugly Sweater Contest - Wear your ugly sweater and enter to win! No registration required.
- Giveaway Drawings - Get your tickets and drop-in on any select prize for a change to win that item!
- Holiday Light Parade Conclusion

Light Parade Float Entry:
MCAS Yuma Units we are looking for you to enter a float within the Holiday Light Parade! Prizes for 1st Place Float $300 Unit Funds prize and 2nd Place Float $150 Unit Funds prize. You may enter a decorated vehicle, golf cart, trailer, boat, scooter, motorcycle, wagon etc. Whatever you decide to enter know that we will refer to it as a "float". All entries must be registered by Friday, November 25, 2022.

FAQ's
Is this event open to the general public?
No, this event is open to active-duty, dependents, retirees, reserve military personnel, veterans with base access and DoD civilian employees only.
Who is qualified for a chance to win prizes during the event?
All active duty, retired and reserve military personnel, and their dependent family over 18 years old. Identification required. MCCS employees are not eligible to win.
Who is qualified to enter a vehicle/float within he Light Parade?
MCAS Yuma active-duty/dependents only may enter and please be aware that it is your unit that will receive the prize if chosen.
Where do I go if I lose my child?
Please educate your children to go to the information booth if they get lost.
Can I bring outside food or drinks?
Sampling will be available. Food and drink is available for purchase inside the MCX & Food Court.
Can I bring my pets?
Only service dogs are permitted.
Where is parking for the event?
Parking for the MCX is located across the street of the West entrance. As well overflow event parking can be obtained at the Station Library lot, Navy Federal lot, and Sonoran Pueblo Event Center.
Can I bring a shopping cart into the venue area?
Shopping carts are not allowed in the venue area. However, they are available for shopping inside the MCX.
Is there a designated smoking area?
Smoking is not permitted inside the barricaded venue area.
Will there be restrooms available?
Venue restrooms will be available on the west end of the MCX building.
