The Child and Youth Program aboard MCAS Yuma includes the Child Development Center (CDC) Bldg. 1071 & 1085, Family Child Care (FCC) Bldg. 1071, Resource & Referral/Supplemental Programs Services (R&R) Bldg. 1071 and Youth Center (YC) Bldg. 1050. Programs are offered to children and youth ages six weeks to twelve years of age, for eligible personnel.
Meals and snacks for all child care programs are free and adhere to the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) requirements through the State of Arizona. Fees for all Child and Youth Programs are determined by total family income based on a sliding fee scale for full day services and before and after school care.
At time of enrollment and annually thereafter, per Secretary of Defense Policy memo dated 23 April 2020, pay information for each wage earner is required as employment verification to determine continued child care eligibility.
FOOD PROGRAM
The MCAS Yuma Child and Youth Program, which includes two Child Development Centers, a Youth Center, and a Family Child Care Program, announces the sponsorship of the USDA Child and Adult Food Program. Meals will be made available to enrolled children at no separate charge without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
