We connect Service Members, spouses of active duty Service Members, and retirees to appropriate resources. Your local Information and Referral office helps you locate resources on a wide range of facts about services and programs available aboard MCAS Yuma and civilian agencies in the local community.  Let us help point you in the right direction.

Additional Information

Moving to a new duty station can be challenging and we are here to assist by offering relocation briefs, workshops, and individual relocation assistance.  Service members and their spouses who are new arrivals should attend the Welcome Aboard Brief.  It is a wonderful newcomers’ orientation brief to programs and services that are available both on and off the installation.  If you are in receipt of PCS Orders, register for the PCS Workshop.  Representatives from IPAC Outbound, DMO, IRR, PFMP, and SLP will brief you on how to PCS with success.  There are two workshops offered each month- one for OCONUS moves and one for CONUS moves.

Whether you or moving to a new duty station away from Yuma or to our desert oasis in MCAS Yuma, Sponsors assist service members and their families during a relocation under PCS assignments to reduce the stress and challenges of relocating.  For more information on sponsors, see MCO 1320.11G.  If you have questions on obtaining a sponsor, speak with your current command or contact our office.

We have a lending locker available to loan you the kitchen necessities to get you by. Plates, cups, untensils, pots & pans, etc. You must be in receipt of PCS orders and have a Military ID. Items are on loan and must be returned in clean useable condition.

WELCOME TO MCAS YUMA!

Let us help get you settled into your new duty station and introduce you to the surrounding community.  On base representatives will be available from Housing, Family Care, Single Marine Program, Personal and Professional Development, and various other resources to provide information on their services.  Marines in ranks E1-E6, WO1, and O1-O2 are required to attend per MCO 1754.10B.  All other newly arrived Marines and families are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Registration is required.

Once you receive orders for a Permanent Change of Station, it is extremely important to know what to expect and who to contact to complete a PCS move successfully. This workshop is designed to help military members and their dependents navigate the process of moving. Whether it's your first time moving or you have conducted many military moves, we invite you to the PCS Smooth Move Workshop to learn and share your experience.

The PCS Smooth Move workshop provides information for personnel making a Permanent Change of Station (PCS) transfer to another base within the United States (CONUS) or to an overseas location (OCONUS). As per MCO 1754.10B, attendance is mandatory for all departing military personnel. Spouses are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Registration is required.
