FTS 60 (Female Strenght Training 60 Mins)

This class is for women of ALL fitness levels! You will be prescribed exercises with equipment of all types ranging from sandbags, barbells, or even SLEDS! FTS 60 is designed to challenge you as an individual and remain motivated with the help of your teammates.

Core Curcuit Training

Using available equipment to tailor to the classes to members' goals. AMRAPs, Tabatas, Stations, Ladders, and Rep challenges are incorporated into the core of this class. Workouts may be timed or counted, done individually or together with a combination of cardio, strength, and core moves..

10th Planet Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Our program is custom tailored by and for America's fighting men and women and their families. You'll learn the techniques of the Jiu-Jitsu martial arts style from our experienced and world championship Coaches.

HITT (High-Intensity Tactical Training)

The High-Intensity Tactical Training (HITT) program’s primary purpose is to enhance operational fitness levels and optimize combat readiness and resiliency for the active duty United States Marines. This comprehensive strength and conditioning program takes into consideration the physical demands of operational-related activities in order to optimize physical performance while in combat. By implementing the latest cutting-edge training methods and fundamental scientific principles, the HITT program focuses on enhancing athleticism for today’s warrior athlete, the United States Marine.

Human Performance

Human Performance is a combination of art and science that helps people discover, achieve, and maintain an optimum state of wellness. Unhealthy lifestyles are the major cause of illness and death in our country, an enormous burden to society, and can create a negative impact on our military’s readiness. By providing programs that help recognize and prevent chronic illness and avenues to change unhealthy behaviors, our Human Performance Specialist can positively impact the health and lives of those we serve.

Wellness Assessments includes a variety of tests, examining one's physical strength, aerobic capacity, flexibility, and more. Wellness assessments include:

InBody

Body water, proteins, minerals, and body fat, which are components of the human body, closely related to the status of our health. Using the method of quantitative analysis, these elements of body composition and body composition analysis provide the basic information required for assessing the status of the body.

Fitness Center Rules

  • Patrons must check in at the front desk when entering the facility. 100% ID checks are strongly enforced.
  • Children under the age of 12 are not authorized to use the facility unless participating in a program specifically for children (i.e. youth sports). Children aged 12-15 are authorized to use the facility only with direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian; MCO 1700.29.
  • Patrons must adhere to the uniform and civilian attire regulations outlined in StaO 1020.1Y. The Fitness Center aboard MCAS Yuma prohibits revealing clothing (i.e. clothing that exposes midriff, the buttocks, excessive amounts of chest/cleavage), excessive amounts of the back, or items designed to be worn as undergarments (and worn exposed), such as boxer shorts/compression shorts, briefs, camisoles or slips, bralettes, bra straps, for civilian attire while on or off duty. Any articles of clothing that are not specifically mentioned, but fall into any of the aforementioned categories are still prohibited. A copy of the station order is present at the front desk for all patrons.
  • It is strongly recommended that Marines adhere to the Marine Corps appearance standards at all times.
  • Report all equipment failures and safety issues to a Fitness Center staff immediately.
  • Patrons will wipe down, re-rack, organize and return all equipment after use to ensure facility cleanliness and proper sanitization standards.
  • Fitness Center staff is authorized to ask any patron to change, cover, or leave the facility if clothing, jewelry, or tattoos convey a negative appearance or message towards race, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, disability, and/or deemed sexually explicit and not in good taste.
  • Fitness Center management supports the Marine Corps rank structure and therefore will uphold any correction(s) and/or order(s) given to junior-enlisted Marines related to action, dress code, or personal appearance.
  • Patrons will follow instructions given by Fitness Center staff in all other cases not specifically mentioned in these instructions.
