Warrior Athlete Readiness & Resilience
Formerly known as HITT, the primary purpose of the Warrior Athlete Readiness & Resilience (WARR) program is to enhance operational fitness levels and optimize combat readiness and resiliency for the Marine. This comprehensive strength and conditioning program takes into consideration the physical demands of operational-related activities in order to optimize physical performance while in combat. Facilitating the latest cutting-edge training methods and fundamental scientific principles, the WARR program focuses on enhancing athleticism for today's tactical athlete – the United States Marine.
WARR Instructor Led Sessions
Open to all active duty or reservists only (civilians must acquire prior authorization from the WARR Coordinator). Daily WARR sessions will allow Marines and supporting military personnel the opportunity to train in a highly motivated group setting. All WARR sessions will be led by our qualified strength and conditioning coaches. Instructor-led WARR sessions will be available to the first 50 patrons.
WARR Train the Trainer Courses
WARR Level I candidates will learn about WARR methodology, basic exercise physiology, nutrition, programming, injury prevention, and functional fitness/ combat conditioning modalities. WARR Level II candidates will cover advanced exercise techniques, biomechanics of movement, and theory of programming. Successful graduates of the course are certified to conduct daily WARR sessions for their unit. Seats should be offered to Marines who conduct Unit PT sessions. All candidates must submit an application to the WARR Coordinator no later than 10 days prior to the course.
